Increase in AAP Support for Canada's High Performance Athletes

Hooper Law is involved with the Sport Matters Group and has worked with them in their successful lobbying for the increase in AAP support for Canada’s high performance athletes.

It was great news to see today in the Federal budget announcement and our athletes will benefit greatly from this increase in funding support as it goes directly to them.

Robert Hooper, Hooper Law Offices, and Kieran Dickson, Evans Philip LLP, will jointly be presenting "Tort Law Update" at the 31st Annual Joint Insurance Seminar for the Hamilton Law Association and OIAA (Hamilton Chapter).


The Seminar will be held Tuesday May 2, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at The Hamilton Convention Centre, Chedoke Room.

City loses appeal in $8-million schoolboy accident case

The Court of Appeal for Ontario has upheld an $8-million negligence ruling in a case against the City of Hamilton involving a child who was struck by a car after a crossing guard left early.
